Volleyball Recap: Foley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Foley lost against Bayside Academy back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Admirals.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12, 25-12.

Leading Bayside Academy to victory were Julia Savage and Mary Katherine Whitehurst. Savage had 14 digs, while Whitehurst had nine digs and two assists. That's the most digs Whitehurst has posted over her last two contests.

Foley has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Bayside Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foley will challenge Orange Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bayside Academy, they will take on Spanish Fort at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
