Basketball Recap: Cypress Creek Starts off Right with Win over Hudson + How To Watch

Cypress Creek took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 81-66 win over the Hudson Cobras. That's more bragging rights for the Coyotes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Blake Allen was a one-man wrecking crew as he went 8-for-12 from beyond the arc to rack up 24 points and four steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rebounds (three). Another player making a difference was Micah Jarvis, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 boards.

Cypress Creek smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hudson only pulled down ten.

Hudson's loss came despite strong showings from Coby Fahler and Kalan Schroder. Fahler shot 54% from the field on his way to 20 points, while Schroder posted 14 points and three steals. Cyle Canales was another key player, putting up eight points.

Cypress Creek has already played their next contest, a 77-35 loss against Jesuit on the 20th. As for Hudson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 64-47 defeat against Central on the 19th.
