Volleyball Recap: Huss Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Huss came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Kings Mountain Mountaineers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-1, 25-3, 25-7.

Among those leading the charge was Madi Broome, who had five digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last nine matches. Jillian Patton also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Huss' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Kings Mountain, they pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huss will host Ashbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskies are facing the Greenwave at the right time seeing as the Greenwave are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Kings Mountain, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Crest at 6:30 p.m.
