Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Takes a Loss

After flying high against New Haven on Wednesday, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers came back down to earth. The Knights came up short against the Bellmont Braves on Thursday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-9, 25-17.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bellmont, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers will face off against Leo at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bellmont, they will take on Yorktown at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
