Detroit Country Day waltzed into their match on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. Everything went their way against the Fraser Ramblers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Yellowjackets also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Detroit Country Day walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-10, 25-20.

Elise Hiemstra paced Detroit Country Day's offense, picking up 16 kills. Hiemstra got some help from Payton Woodruff and her 25 assists. Hiemstra was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Detroit Country Day's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Fraser, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Detroit Country Day will square off against Seaholm/Groves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fraser, they will host Marysville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Vikings have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
