Basketball Recap: Glenelg Country Takes a Loss

Glenelg Country lost against Mount St. Joseph back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Glenelg Country Dragons fell 59-46 to the Mount St. Joseph Gaels. The match marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Glenelg Country has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Mount St. Joseph, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Glenelg Country will take on Trinity in a tournament on Saturday. As for Mount St. Joseph, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-45 victory against McDonogh on the 15th.
