Baseball Recap: DeRidder Takes a Loss

DeRidder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rosepine Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Dragons have suffered since March 11th.

DeRidder's defeat dropped their record down to 15-19. As for Rosepine, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

DeRidder has already played their next matchup (against St. Mary), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rosepine, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-4 loss against Anacoco on the 14th.
