Butler won the last time they faced Brashear and things went their way on Friday too. The Golden Tornado blew past the Bulls 48-24. With the Golden Tornado ahead 34-10 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Mark Klemz was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 176 yards and four scores on only 13 carries. Another back making a difference was Max Rihn, who rushed for 83 yards and a pair of TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Butler was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 370 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Butler has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 40.0 points this season. As for Brashear, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Butler will host Meadville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brashear, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Westinghouse at 7:00 p.m.
