Whitley County won the last time they faced Southwestern and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Colonels put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 8-1 victory. Considering the Colonels have won four games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Whitley County got a great performance from Christian Wilson as he struck out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk). Wilson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
