Fossil Ridge waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Azle Hornets 63-38. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Hornets are ranked 979th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fossil Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Azle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-14.
