With a playoff win on the line, East Central rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They secured a 63-59 W over the Alexander Bulldogs. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

East Central's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-13. As for Alexander, their loss dropped their record down to 28-6.

Looking ahead, East Central will square off against Los Fresnos on Friday. East Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 matches -- so hopefully Los Fresnos likes a good challenge. Alexander does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
