Softball Game Preview: Lawton-Bronson Eagles vs. Ridge View Raptors

Lawton-Bronson hasn't had much luck against Ridge View recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Raptors at 5:30 p.m.

On Monday, Lawton-Bronson came up short against Kingsley-Pierson and fell 4-1.

Meanwhile, Ridge View hadn't done well against Newell-Fonda recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Raptors won by a run and slipped past the Mustangs 7-6. The win was familiar territory for the Raptors, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Lawton-Bronson's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Ridge View, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.

Lawton-Bronson skirted past Ridge View 4-2 when the teams last played back in June of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
