Volleyball Recap: South Point Victorious

South Point posted their closest win since October 9, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Porter Ridge Pirates 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Raiders.

South Point found their leader in freshman Ava Cooper, who had 23 assists and six digs. Cooper is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

South Point's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Porter Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

South Point has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Charlotte Latin on the 23rd. As for Porter Ridge, they will take on Cuthbertson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
