Basketball Recap: Altamont Takes a Loss

Altamont played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 58-24 loss at the hands of the Panguitch Bobcats. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mallory Henrie was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds for Panguitch. Tayt Miller was another key player, going 6 for 9 on her way to 15 points.

Altamont's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Panguitch, their win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Altamont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-23 loss against Wayne on the 3rd. As for Panguitch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 44-26 defeat against Duchesne on the 28th.
