Denver Christian had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Loveland Classical on Saturday. The Thunder put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 4-1 victory. Marcos Genc was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Denver Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Loveland Classical, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
