Basketball Recap: Orangefield Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Orangefield won the last time they faced Buna, and Jaden Scales did his part to make sure it happened again. The Orangefield Bobcats walked away with an 83-72 victory over the Buna Cougars on Tuesday thanks in part to Scales, who went 10 of 16 on his way to 30 points and seven assists. Those seven assists gave him a new career-high.

Orangefield's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Buna, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Orangefield Bobcats challenge the Anahuac Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Orangefield has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 203 points over their last three matches. As for Buna, they will welcome Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
