Soccer Recap: Excelsior Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Excelsior Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the Voyager Academy Vikings. While losing is never fun, Excelsior Classical Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 389th, while Voyager Academy are ranked 124th).

Excelsior Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Voyager Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
