Football Game Preview: Ryan Cowboys vs. Grandfield Bearcats

Ryan is 8-2 against Grandfield since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cowboys will welcome the Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. Ryan is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Ryan is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oklahoma's top teams: Mountain View-Gotebo, who was ranked 16th at the time (Ryan was ranked sixth). The Cowboys walked away with a 34-26 victory over the Tigers on Friday.

Meanwhile, Grandfield ended up a good deal behind Corn Bible Academy on Thursday and lost 32-16. The Bearcats have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Grandfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Ryan, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Everything came up roses for Ryan against Grandfield in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 46-0 victory. Will the Cowboys repeat their success, or do the Bearcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
