Basketball Recap: Cambridge Christian Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Cambridge Christian Lancers came up short against the Florida College Academy Falcons and fell 41-30. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Among those leading the charge was Zahra Albertie, who posted four points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds. April Latta was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.

Cambridge Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Florida College Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3.

Cambridge Christian has already played their next match, a 48-46 loss against Out-of-Door Academy on the 23rd. As for Florida College Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Winter Haven Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Florida College Academy's defense has only allowed 27.6 points per game this season, so Winter Haven Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
