Volleyball Game Preview: Ridge View Blazers vs. Clover Blue Eagles

The Ridge View Blazers will venture away from home to square off against the Clover Blue Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Ridge View lost 3-0 to Blythewood on Thursday.

Ridge View was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-20, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Clover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Catawba Ridge, falling 3-0.

While Clover ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.

Ridge View will have to contain Bryn Turlington as she made an impact in Clover's last game. She had 13 digs and three assists.

Clover's loss dropped their record down to 11-19. As for Ridge View, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10-1.
