On Monday, Lexington beat Jackson North Side 7-4. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won seven in a row.

Lexington got a great performance from Logan Hayes as he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. The Tigers are 3-1 when Hayes allows two or fewer earned runs, but 3-12 otherwise.

At the plate, Lexington's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cager James, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Those two runs gave James a new career-high. Ross McDaniel was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
