Softball Recap: Andrew Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Andrew's offense. They came up short against the Lincoln-Way West Warriors on Wednesday, falling 10-0. The Thunderbolts just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Andrew's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Lincoln-Way West, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Andrew is set to challenge their familiar foe Homewood-Flossmoor at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lincoln-Way West will face off against rival Lincoln-Way Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
