Hillsborough finds home court redemption against Armwood

There's no place like home for the Hillsborough Terriers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 58-48 win over Armwood on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Hillsborough, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Armwood still got an impressive performance from Talon Mckinnie, who scored 17 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Bernadin, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.

Hillsborough pushed their record up to 7-9 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Armwood, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsborough will challenge Alonso at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Armwood, they will head out on the road to face off against East Bay at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Aaron Quarterman and Mckinnie.
