Basketball Recap: Buffalo Takes a Loss

Buffalo lost against Mooreland back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Buffalo Bison took a 44-28 bruising from the Mooreland Bearcats. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 387th, while the Bearcats are ranked 109th).

Buffalo has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Mooreland, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-6.

Buffalo will square off against Fort Supply at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mooreland, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mooreland Bearcats duke it out with the Union City Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Mooreland is facing Union City at the right time seeing as Union City is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
