Volleyball Game Preview: Amity Regional Spartans vs. Glastonbury Guardians

The Amity Regional Spartans will square off against the Glastonbury Guardians at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Amity Regional will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Amity Regional is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Southington.

Meanwhile, Glastonbury earned a 3-1 win over Hamden on Thursday.

Amity Regional better focus on containing Leah Mosca and Lexi Marques as the pair were huge in Glastonbury's win. Mosca had 15 digs and three aces, while Marques had eight digs. That's the most digs Marques has posted over her last four matchups.

Amity Regional's record now sits at 20-4. As for Glastonbury, their record is now 26-3-2.

Amity Regional suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Glastonbury in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
