Football Recap: Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial Starts off Right with Win over Oxford

Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Oxford Wolverines 16-13.

Looking ahead, Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Amistad at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Oxford, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on St. Paul Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Wolverines their first taste of in-conference action this season.
