Softball Recap: Redwood Valley Comes Up Short

Redwood Valley fell victim to Jackson County Central and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Huskies, falling 15-0. The Cardinals have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Redwood Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Jackson County Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Looking ahead, Redwood Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Lac qui Parle Valley at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Jackson County Central, they will square off against Fairmont at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Huskies 1.9, the Cardinals 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
