Soccer Recap: Crystal Lake South Starts Season with Victory at Home

Crystal Lake South gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Woodstock North Thunder a 1-0 shutout. Crystal Lake South haven't had any issues with Woodstock North recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Coming up, Crystal Lake South will be playing at home against Schaumburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodstock North, they will venture away from home to face off against Marengo at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be Woodstock North's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
