Baseball Recap: Martin County Victorious

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Martin County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They skirted past the Palm Beach Central Broncos 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Michael Sanchez tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Martin County is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-4 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Zane Moody was incredible, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.
