Volleyball Recap: Manila Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Manila and Altamont squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Manila had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Longhorns. The Mustangs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it ten in a row.

Chezney Bywater was the offensive standout of the match as she had nine digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Manila's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Altamont, their record is now 10-19.

Manila does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Altamont, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Monument Valley on the 25th.
