Baseball Recap: Mio HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Mio HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 11-4 to the Hillman Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Hillman this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 on Thursday.

Mio HomeSchool now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Hillman, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Coming up, Mio HomeSchool will square off against Tawas Area at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Braves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.71 runs per game on average), something Mio HomeSchool will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hillman, they will face off against Oscoda at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
