Blazer lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Greenup County, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Tomcats never let the Musketeers get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Tomcats sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Blazer's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-14. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Greenup County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-6.

Looking ahead, Blazer will head out to face off against Rowan County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tomcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. As for Greenup County, they will face off against Bath County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
