Softball Recap: Liberty Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Liberty won the last time they faced East Stroudsburg South and things went their way on Monday too. The Hurricanes came out on top against the Cavaliers by a score of 8-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hurricanes.

Liberty pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for East Stroudsburg South, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-2 win against Easton Area on the 22nd. The Cavaliers are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
