Basketball Recap: Gadsden Takes a Loss

Gadsden lost against Artesia back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The game between the Gadsden Panthers and the Artesia Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Gadsden Panthers falling 56-39.

Gadsden dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Artesia, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Gadsden Panthers face off against the Lovington Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Artesia, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Taos at 3:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
