Antwerp is 10-0 against Montpelier since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Antwerp Archers will venture away from home to take on the Montpelier Locomotives at 7:30 p.m. Antwerp is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Antwerp came up short against Wayne Trace on Friday, falling 69-43. While losing is never fun, the Archers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 673rd, while the Raiders are ranked 294th).

Montpelier has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 62-51 to Pettisville on Friday.

Antwerp's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Montpelier, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-4.

Everything went Antwerp's way against Montpelier when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Antwerp made off with a 65-41 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Antwerp since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
