Basketball Recap: Berkley Bears vs. Franklin Patriots
On Friday, the Berkley Bears didn't have quite enough to beat the Franklin Patriots and fell 57-55. While the Bears didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Patriots 16-9 in the first quarter.
When it comes to explaining why Berkley lost, don't look at Sam Niyo. Despite the final result, he went 8 for 13 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Young, who posted 12 points.
