Hagerstown had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Franklin County Wildcats. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

While Hagerstown won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-19, 25-21.

Leading Hagerstown to victory were Hallie Pruitt and Bella Thalls. Pruitt had 15 digs and two assists, while Thalls had seven digs.

Franklin County dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Hagerstown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Morristown on the 21st. Franklin County has also already played their next contest (against Rushville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
