USC Hybrid came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Brio College Prep Olympians as they made off with a 3-0 win.
USC Hybrid walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-17.
USC Hybrid had a senior duo take command as Francisco Sandoval had 32 digs and three aces and Anthony Ramirez had five aces, four digs, and four blocks. Sandoval is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games he's played. Elsworth Felix was another key player, getting 14 kills and one block.
USC Hybrid was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 15 aces in four consecutive contests.
USC Hybrid pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Coming up, USC Hybrid will take on New Designs University Park at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. Brio College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
