Volleyball Game Preview: Pendleton Heights Arabians vs. Muncie Burris Owls

The Pendleton Heights Arabians will face off against the Muncie Burris Owls at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Pendleton Heights beat Mississinewa 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Arabians.

The win didn't come easy: Mississinewa scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 22-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Muncie Burris, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on Muncie Central with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Owls in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won nine in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-15.

The victory got Pendleton Heights back to even at 15-15. As for Muncie Burris, their win bumped their record up to 18-6.

Pendleton Heights came out on top in a nail-biter against Muncie Burris in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Arabians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Owls turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
