Recap: Flora Wolves vs. Mt. Carmel Golden Aces
The Flora Wolves lost against the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Flora's rough 42-17 loss to Mt. Carmel might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Flora has scored all season.
Mt. Carmel found their leader in underclassman Maycee Randall, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Riley Hershey, who scored eight points.
This is the second loss in a row for Flora and nudges their season record down to 1-13. As for Mt. Carmel, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Meridian the next time they take the court. Mt. Carmel will head out to face Meridian at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, while Flora will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
