Basketball Game Preview: Tipton Blue Devils vs. Adams Central Flying Jets

The Tipton Blue Devils will take on the Adams Central Flying Jets at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tipton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season.

Tipton is headed into Saturday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-54 heartbreaker at the hands of Hamilton Heights.

Despite the loss, Tipton got top-tier performance from Grady Carpenter, who posted 22 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists. Carpenter has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Spidel, who put up nine points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Adams Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 67-66 to Heritage.

Tipton's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Adams Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
