Exeter has gone a perfect 6-0 against Manchester Memorial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Blue Hawks will take on the Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. Exeter is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Exeter barely beat Manchester Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Blue Hawks never let the Little Green get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Wednesday. The Blue Hawks haven't had any issues with the Little Green recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Not much got past Zach Hill, who gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Manchester Central off the board.

On the hitting side, Garrett White was incredible, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mike Caron, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Exeter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .469. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Manchester Memorial's offense. They fell just short of Pinkerton by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Astros recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Exeter's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Manchester Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Everything went Exeter's way against Manchester Memorial when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Exeter made off with a 9-3 win. Will the Blue Hawks repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
