Basketball Recap: Farmington Takes a Loss

Farmington was the 52-46 winner over Newmarket when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Farmington Tigers took a 66-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newmarket Mules on Friday.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Newmarket, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farmington will head out to challenge Portsmouth Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Farmington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. As for Newmarket, they are taking a road trip to take on Holy Family Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
