Baseball Recap: Dixon Comes Up Short

Dixon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 15-4 to Casa Roble. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Casa Roble this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-3 loss last Wednesday.

Isacc Santos made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

Dixon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-1. As for Casa Roble, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-8.

Looking ahead, Dixon will challenge Sutter at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Huskies have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Casa Roble, they will take on Cordova in a tournament on Monday.
