Union had already won nine in a row and they went ahead and made it ten on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the West Lauderdale Knights. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory on Saturday.

Ava Smith paced Union's offense, picking up nine kills. Smith got some help from Abigail Cleveland and her 18 assists. Cleveland also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Destiny Moulds, each putting up two.

Union's win bumped their record up to 25-8. As for West Lauderdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-14-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Union and West Lauderdale will both be playing Lake the next time they take the court. The Yellowjackets will host the Hornets at 1:20 p.m. on Saturday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
