Football Game Preview: Sachem North vs. Patchogue-Medford Raiders

Sachem North will challenge the Patchogue-Medford Raiders on Saturday.

Sachem North is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 38 points last Saturday, they were much more limited against Ward Melville on Saturday. They were dealt a 43-13 loss at the hands of the Patriots. Sachem North was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-7.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Patchogue-Medford). They walked away with a 35-28 win over Bay Shore on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

The victory got Patchogue-Medford back to even at 2-2. As for Sachem North, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

Sachem North strolled past Patchogue-Medford when the teams last played back in November of 2022 by a score of 21-6. Does Sachem North have another victory up their sleeve, or will Patchogue-Medford turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
