Soccer Game Preview: Branson vs. Kickapoo

The Branson Pirates will challenge the Kickapoo Chiefs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Branson fell victim to Bolivar and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Liberators. Branson haven't had much luck with Bolivar recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Kickapoo didn't have quite enough to beat Springfield Catholic on Thursday and fell 2-1.

Kickapoo's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Branson, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Branson suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Kickapoo when the teams last played back in April. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
