Recap: Yukon Millers vs. Norman Tigers
The Yukon Millers lost against the Norman Tigers back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Yukon fell 51-41 to Norman. Yukon has not had much luck with Norman recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Norman's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keeley Parks, who scored 21 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Parks has scored at least 25% of Norman's points. Destinee Deer was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Yukon's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Norman, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Yukon will head out on the road to face off against Putnam City West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Putnam City West is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Norman, they will be playing at home against Edmond Santa Fe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
