Softball Recap: Southwest Onslow Stallions vs. Swansboro Pirates
Southwest Onslow had lost three straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 6-12 to make it four. They lost 20-4 to the Swansboro Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stallions of the 8-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Grace Randolph was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
As for Swansboro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games.
