Basketball Game Preview: Hyde Park Thunderbirds vs. Crane Medical Cougars

After both having extra time off, the Hyde Park Thunderbirds and the Crane Medical Cougars will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hyde Park is looking for their season's first win.

Hyde Park managed to keep up with Ogden International until halftime back in December of 2024, but things quickly went downhill from there. Hyde Park lost 52-27 to Ogden International. One positive for the Thunderbirds, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Crane Medical came up short against Stagg last Saturday and fell 54-41.

Hyde Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Crane Medical, their loss dropped their record down to 11-3.

Hyde Park strolled past Crane Medical in their previous meeting back in November of 2018 by a score of 39-21. Will Hyde Park repeat their success, or does Crane Medical have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
